Tony Zosel
Managing Director
After several years of Sales & Account Service, Tony realized his dream of owning his own advertising agency in the Fall of 2001. His goal was to start an agency that could manage projects for every type of business (Fortune 500, mid-market, small businesses and non-profits). His vision was to have a staff well versed in all areas of business to best understand every marketing and communication situation. Tony and his wife Debi, both proud graduates of the University of Minnesota, live in Bloomington with their three children: Jake, Olivia and Hadley.
Darren Varley
Creative Director
Darren brought over 10 years experience to Multiply in 2001 and had worked in small to large size agencies including Mammoth Marketing and Minnesota’s own Timberwolves. His strengths include corporate identity, logos, direct mail, print and web design. Due to his nature of wanting to get his hands on everything (some may call it meddling), Darren also dabbles in the account management and sales roles at Multiply as well. He enjoys cooking and cross-country skiing and lives in St. Paul with his wife Krista and brittany spaniel Mattie.
Krista Ormson Varley
Account Manager, Public Relations & Copywriter
Krista found herself in advertising after years in the staffing industry in business development and branch management, a a few years as a school psychologist, and sales in other industries. The energy of a creative environment and the opportunity to work in marketing and advertising has been a blast for Multiply’s Jill-of-all trades. If her position description leads you to believe she wears many hats at Multiply, you’re absolutely right. What is she doing today? You may just have to call and find out. We have a storage closet full of hat boxes just for her. Now we need room for the shoes to match.
Brian Andren
Web Developer & IT Specialist
Brian joined Multiply in February of 2011 bringing with him 5 years of web design and development. The most recent years have been strongly geared towards building sites using the WordPress framework. He finds great reward in bringing a site together from scratch and matching it to a clients vision. He is the proud father of 3 beautiful girls and he is grateful that his job allows more time to spend with them as most work can be produced out of a home office. Brian is also our resident office smoker of fabulous things from his own backyard…meats and fish, that is. Where was your mind?
Laura Hoenack
Office Manager
One might think that a pre-requisite for working at Multiply is to have a great passion for music, sports, and/or cooking since everyone seems to love one or all of those three pastimes. Laura is no exception. She and her husband own Hymie Vintage Records in Minneapolis (qualifying her to win the “music fan” title among us). That isn’t the only reason she was hired as our Office Manager. She brought 5 years of experience in Administrative Services and Office Management. And her experience running her own business has been a huge asset. She and her husband have 2 children, Gus and Nova. Gardening, swimming, camping, hiking and knitting occupy her downtime while actively following the local music scene.
Mattie
Office Pups
You’ve come a long way girl! Mattie joined the team in November of 2010. Like all of Multiply’s employees, Mattie wears many hats. She functions as the office security system (we always know when a dog is walking by) as well as a vacuum cleaner (only consumables however). She is also the office greeter and seems to make new friends with anybody who shows up (the mail man is afraid of her however). Rescued from an abandoned barn near Blaine, Mattie has now upgraded (ever so slightly) to East St. Paul.
